Last night we went to Evans Cycles in Waterloo to test ride a few bikes.We learnt some important lessons - a) we know nothing about bikes and b) they are bloomin' expensive.
Whilst the test ride was pretty useful to get sizing and requirements right, we agreed our total mileage on road bikes up to this point was probably around a mile between us - quite a lot of work to do in the next few months!
It was not a successful trip, but we did have a couple of beers and a nice meal at Wahaca on the South Bank - and we're heading back to test ride some more on Friday!
